Star Trek and me…

I started watching Star Trek when I was 6.

The first episode I ever watched was ‘The Menagerie‘. I didn’t even realise it was Star Trek until it finished.

I then looked forward to it every week (on Wednesday’s at 6pm on BBC2).

I wouldn’t watch the Next Generation for a long time. It just wouldn’t be the same - I was sure. It took Generations the movie to come out before I gave in.

I really didn’t know what to make of Deep Space Nine when I first watched it. It took a very long time for it to grow on me - now it’s my favourite. My DS9 video collection probably nailed me my husband too

I loved Voyager instantly, and learned it inside and out. It took a long time for it to annoy me. Now I only watch the odd episode when I’m bored or nostalgic.

I tend to ignore Enterprise as much as possible.
