I knit too!
As I may have mentioned from time to time, I knit.
This began when I was very small and wanted to knit because my gran did – she got me started and I churned out some ugly, strange strips of knitting. Full of holes and a lot wider at the top than the bottom.
It became a real passion at about 15 when I began to knit things a little less ordinary…
Like a ball gown:

There is one of these knitted entirly out of black wool as well – I made it for a friend (I don’t know if it still exists)
And a cat-suit:

This gets a little warm after a while – I can only wear it for an hour MAX!

Love it! Something I didn’t know about KR… full of surprise! Am waiting for her to come into work in her ball dress…
I love how the colours are arranged on the skirt of the ball gown!
How hard was it to figure out the shaping on the cat suit? (I tried knitting yoga pants once but never bothered sewing them up, so I’m curious.)
Thanks!
I knitted these a few years ago so the finer details are a little fuzzy.
I copied the shapes of a particularly well fitting pair of trousers for the catsuit. I was amazed at how well it worked in the end (I had had some incredible disasters in the past when it came to shaping).
The Ball Gown looks cool if you twirl very fast!
