Geek nights are already run in several towns and cities, the successful Oxford Geek Night for example.
Jim Anning, a friend of mine that I met through twitter and worked with on Reading Twestival, has been working hard in the last few weeks and months to put together a regular Geek Night event in Reading. Well, the first one will kick things off next Tuesday. I think the poster says it all really…
Now… I’ve no coding experience so some of the talks may leave me frowning, but I’m told that is why there is going to be a bar! Great!
I am VERY interested in digital identity, as you might imagine. So I’ll be going along, hoping to catch some fresh angles and insight.
